MOSCOW, Aug 24 (PRIME) -- Russia’s largest carmaker AvtoVAZ plans to start production of electric Lada cars in 2027–2028, CEO Nicolas Maure said on Tuesday during the IMAF-2021 international forum.
“We hope that Lada will start production of electric cars in 2027–2028. These are plans that we will discuss with the government on how we should implement it,” he said.
